Eco-Guesthouse and Restaurant
If talking about the management and operation of the guesthouse, important to mention our committment of environment protection. For this reason the business attitude of our management and employees have been awarded by KÖVET, the Association for Sustainable Economies.
The following elements of the eco-attitude have led us to qualify for the Award:
• change of the heating system to biomass furnace,
• solar panels on the roof,
• removal of 7 electric boilers.
• replacement of old, energy consuming refrigerators and freezers, with A+ class appliances.
• replacement of all lighing sources with energy efficient ones.
• selective collection of waste.
• use of environmental friendly detergents and stationeries.
• focus on awarness raising (in particular the education of kids, by handing over eco-materials to them during their stay in the restaurant).
